デッキの多様化はイベントの国際化を色濃く反映している。日本人が初めて、東京の10Kトーナメントを経てプロサーキットのステージへとやって来た。彼らが近いうちにこのゲームを支配してしまうだろうという予測もある―TCG世界ではやり手として知られているパトリック・サリヴァン曰く、「北米の時代はあと6ヶ月だね。そこから先はPCの優勝は全部日本人さ。」パトリックの誇張はあまりにも有名だが、まあそれを差し引いてもこの称賛ぶりだ。この「日出づる国」からやって来たプレイヤーたちに少し注目することとしよう。
